Wow what a roller coaster of a weekend! We all know what chaos the Volcanic eruption in Iceland has caused around the world for travelers. Late last thursday evening I got a call regarding a friend of ours based in the US who was in dire need. The friend in question is Joe Dickie and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was scheduled to shoot a wedding in Ireland over the weekend and could not get a flight over to attend.

So David Pullum and I stepped in to shoot the wedding together for him. Consequently another friend of ours - Huy Nguyen (from F8 studio) was stuck in Moscow, and Joe helped cover Huy’s wedding in the US as HE couldn’t make it!

So we both left home at 3am to get the ferry from Hollyhead in time, then it was a further 4 hours drive to Shannon, where the wedding was to take place at the gorgeous Dromoland Castle.

So we got to the castle just in time to cover the Pre Wedding Party and then the Wedding the next day. Then on the sunday is was another 13 hour trip to get home!
